Cinema showtimes and online ticket purchase
If you are representing a cinema and your showtimes are not yet listed within Naviflix, or you would like us to link showtimes to your online (mobile) booking engine, we provide a free partnership deal for you!
Naviflix is being used by thousands of users on their mobile phones either as native application (iPhone, iPad, Android) or within the mobile web interface. Once users have found the movie of their choice at your theatre - they are just one click away to book a ticket at your cinema theatre online!
All you need to do is to contact us and provide us with an XML feed that allows us to read the showtime data for your cinema. Alternatively, the showtimes can be sent via Excel to showtimes [at] naviflix.com
Option 1 - Automatic XML Feed
- Create the XML file either programmatically on your website, database or booking system
- The XML structure is very simple and incorporates theatre address details, movie name, showtime dates, timing and if available a link to your booking engine for every movie at a certain theatre on a certain date and time
- Please download the sample XML feed and the technical documentation for the XML feed
- Once the XML feed is created, kindly test it for valid XML code using the free validation service provided by www.xmlvalidation.com
- Finally, please upload it to your cinema website and send us the link to showtimes [at] naviflix.com - we suggest to automatically update the XML feed every day so your data is always shown correctly to Naviflix users
Option 2 - Manual Excel file submission
- This option is not the preferred way of integrating your showtime data into Naviflix, as it involves manual steps and can create potential mistakes
- Download the sample Excel file
- Rename the Excel file into 'your cinema theatre name and location'.xls
- One Excel XLS file is required for every cinema theatre that you are managing
- Update the movie name, quality (3D, Digital), date, time and link to your booking engine in the Excel XLS file
- Once the Excel XLS file is created, attach it to an email and send it to showtimes [at] naviflix.com
- If you are sending us the data for the first time, make sure you include your cinema's full address details (name, address, post code, city, country, email, phone, website, twitter, FaceBook link, Google Map location)
- Within 24 hours your data will be processed and uploaded to Naviflix
